this is my first attempt at anything like this. ever. so please forgive me if you think the attempted grunge looks horrible. theres a lot of pen detail that didnt get picked up. so just imagine its there.

used india ink, black walnut ink, acrylic, blood, and a page from mein kampf on watercolor paper

You never cease to amaze me with your originality.

Your use of the mein kampf that’s just brilliance, the atmosphere makes me hurt inside, and ‘blood’ in the list of what you used to make this picture just adds to it.

thanks. i never read that book all the way through, anyway. and i wanted text. and it holds a somewhat significance to me. so i used it

Not to pry, but where'd you get the blood for it? And isn't blood supposed to turn nasty brown when it dries?

All in all I really like it - a little dark for your style, but you pulled it off beautifully. <3

mein kampf.. awesome.

I like it, I think you did well with the grunge, especially for a first time. I've always liked it when people added parts from texts like magazines or books - it adds a very nice touch.
