hope this makes up for it. im pretty proud, despite its really simple. i like lionfish. a lot. i had one for a month, a fuzzy dwarf lionfish. then it died. sooo this is like a commemorative piece i suppose. (i wanted to do a picture before that happened, anyway) CAUSE HE WAS MY BUDDY. i cried and everything. please dont leave comments that are like OMG IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. im just telling you the story behind it.
played with caustics a bit. and failed. but it was a fun experiment i suppose.
What a pretty little fish they are, There used the be a BK by my house that had a tank with one of these in it. I used to sit and watch them and lose track of time.

Aww wow coolio lionfish 8D They are one of the coolest fish ever made 8D and this piece looks really cool ^_^ I really like how simple and stylised it looks :3 it makes it a really interesting piece to look at n_n Great work on the colouring the colours look so smooth and bold and the shading is really clean cut and smooth as well the dramatic shading and highlighting on this looks really nice as well you captured the underwater scene very well :3 awesome piccy!!!
